Russia attacked Zaporizhzhia twice overnight: fires and destruction, but no casualties

According to МВС: On the night of January 1 to 2, Russian troops carried out two attacks on Zaporizhzhia, resulting in fires and damage, but there were no casualties. The first attack occurred late in the evening on January 1. As a result, three fires broke out, and buildings, roads, and vehicles were damaged by debris.
The second attack took place around 02:00 on January 2, during which a shopping center caught fire. The fire in the shopping center was quickly extinguished. The area was surveyed by emergency service sapper teams, and all emergency services were working at the scene.
Consequences of the attacks
These attacks on Zaporizhzhia come amid escalating military actions in Ukraine, which continue to raise concerns among the population. Despite the absence of casualties, the destruction of infrastructure and property could have serious consequences for local residents.
