Russia Imitates Negotiations: Military Intelligence Reveals Kremlin's True Purpose

Putin Imitates Negotiations on Ending the War
Військова розвідка виявила справжні наміри Кремля під час так званих переговорів.

Russia is actively imitating negotiations with the aim of disinformation of the Ukrainian society and Ukraine's international partners regarding the cessation of war, reported a representative of the Military Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense. In trying to blame Ukraine, official representatives of the Russian Federation often resort to imitating peace negotiations.

“The aggressor state and its representatives are trying to evade, as they say. That is, they often present either desired as actual, or imitate a desire for negotiations, or shift all the responsibility onto Ukraine, saying, look how incapable they are of negotiations,” said Yusov.

Noting that the disinformation strategy misleads Ukrainians and allies, he emphasized that identifying the real actors of the conflict is the task of every citizen.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky replied to Putin's invitation to meet in Moscow with a refusal, explaining that the meeting would not take place. European politicians proposed an alternative - in case Putin invites Zelensky to Moscow, the president may invite him to The Hague, which immediately found support among several European leaders.

The situation around the imitation of negotiations regarding the cessation of war and the refusal of the Ukrainian leader to meet with Putin indicates an attempt by Russia to influence the Ukrainian public and international partners, as well as the importance of response and interaction with allied states in this context.
