On the evening of August 23, drones attacked several regions in Russia, including the Moscow region and Saint Petersburg. The Mayor of Moscow, Sergey Sobyanin, confirmed the incident and reported the downing of drones heading for the city. Specialists are already working at the landing site to investigate the event.

Fire at the nuclear power plant in the Kursk region

On the night of August 24, drones attacked the Kursk region, leading to a fire at the Kursk nuclear power plant in the city of Kurchatov. Rescuers are already on the scene and mitigating the consequences of the incident. It is noted that a transformer block, unrelated to the nuclear plant, caught fire and was managed at 30%.

Volcano in Hawaii

In Hawaii, the Kilauea volcano has shown increased activity, causing lava fountains to erupt in the Halema'uma'u crater. This is already the 31st episode of the volcano’s activity since December 2024. Fortunately, there is no danger to local residents or aviation, as the situation is being monitored by experienced specialists.
