Russia shelled the center of Kherson with artillery: there are wounded

Today, August 31, the occupying Russian army shelled the center of Kherson, resulting in injuries among local residents. This was reported by the Kherson Regional State Administration, citing the publication 'Glavkom'.

According to the Regional State Administration, around 10:00 AM, Russian forces shelled the Central District of Kherson using artillery fire.

One of the medical institutions in the city was hit. As a result of the shelling, a 54-year-old man was wounded, suffering fragment injuries to the abdomen.

Men aged 36, 47, and 57 were hospitalized with blast injuries and concussions. One of them sustained fragment injuries to the head and shoulder damage.

Medical assistance was provided on the spot to two other men aged 63 and 69, who refused hospitalization.

It is worth noting that last week, Russian forces attacked Kherson using a strike drone, which hit a residential building in the Central District of the city, resulting in injuries to two women.

Earlier, there was also information about shelling of the center of Kherson by Russian terrorists, which led to one man's death.

Currently, the situation in Kherson is tense due to shelling by the occupiers, leading to injuries and fatalities among the civilian population. The city authorities intend to take measures to protect the peaceful population from Russian aggression.
