Coordinated Attacks Target American Businesses in Ukraine

According to Главком: Russia has been systematically hitting facilities owned by U.S. companies in Ukraine, yet the administration of President Donald Trump has offered no meaningful response. These strikes have affected sites linked to major corporations, including:

  • Cargill
  • Coca-Cola
  • Boeing
  • Mondelez
  • Philip Morris
  • Flex Ltd.
  • Bunge

Some of these attacks-specifically those on Cargill and Coca-Cola assets-had not been publicly disclosed before.

Strikes on Ukrainian Infrastructure

In one notable incident, seven Russian drones struck a Cargill grain terminal in southern Ukraine within a three-minute window. Around the same time, a power plant and a solar station near a Coca-Cola facility outside Kyiv also came under fire. Despite these events, the Trump administration has condemned none of the attacks, with Washington’s reaction limited to expressing concern.

Representatives of American businesses in Ukraine believe these strikes were deliberate. Senator Jeanne Shaheen noted that

“the White House’s response has been complete silence.”

According to Andriy Gunder, Russia aims to disrupt the flow of U.S. investment into Ukraine, seeking to demonstrate that doing business in the country is too risky.

This situation unfolds against the backdrop of an agreement signed last year between Ukraine and the United States, granting American investors preferential access to Ukraine’s energy sector. However, since the full-scale war began, 47% of companies have already suffered damage, and 38% have lost employees. These figures highlight the severe challenges facing U.S. investors in Ukraine.

The assaults on American-owned facilities in Ukraine underscore an escalation in the conflict and Russia’s efforts to destabilize the country’s economy. The lack of decisive action from the United States could undermine the investment climate, potentially complicating Ukraine’s post-war economic recovery. This situation has raised alarm among international observers and the business community, as continued aggression may lead to further declines in investment and worsening socio-economic conditions in Ukraine.

The ongoing silence from the Trump administration regarding the attacks raises concerns about U.S. commitment to Ukraine, especially as focus shifts to other international issues.
