Attacks on Kharkiv and Other Cities

According to Главком: On June 10, the Russian military launched 26 drone strikes against Kharkiv, injuring five people. The Kholodnohirskyi district bore the brunt of the assault, with fires breaking out as a result. Mayor Ihor Terekhov confirmed the casualties.

The previous day, June 9, saw Kharkiv hit by multiple waves of attacks across at least five districts. These strikes sparked blazes in residential areas and damaged homes and vehicles.

Strikes on Other Regions

Beyond Kharkiv, Russian forces also targeted Vilniansk in the Zaporizhzhia district, where seven people were hurt, including three young children. A residential building was destroyed there, and a fire ignited. On the night of June 10, the enemy used attack drones to strike the Prymorskyi district of Odesa, damaging two residential buildings.

These events underscore Russia's continued heavy bombardment of Ukrainian cities, posing severe risks to civilians. For context, such drone and missile attacks have become a near-daily occurrence in Ukraine's eastern and southern regions since the start of the full-scale invasion in February 2022.

The situation in Ukraine remains tense as assaults on civilian infrastructure persist, highlighting the ongoing conflict. Affected regions struggle to ensure public safety and protection, as well as to rebuild infrastructure damaged by the shelling. These developments have raised international concern over Ukraine's humanitarian crisis and the urgent need for aid to victims.

The recent drone strikes in Kharkiv are part of a broader pattern of assaults affecting various Ukrainian cities. Similar attacks have also struck Dnipro and Zaporizhzhia, resulting in significant damage to infrastructure and residential areas.
