Russia has taken to fighting the invented 'Satanists'
The Supreme Court of Russia has decided to ban the International Movement of Satanists, which they see as a threat to traditional religions. The prosecutor's office accused them of promoting violence and offenses.
Deputy Minister of Justice of Russia Oleg Sviridenko stated that the ban is a result of joint efforts by law enforcement and courts aimed at protecting national interests and public safety.
The Russian Orthodox Church and conservative lawmakers supported this decision, which adds to the list of movements persecuted under Russian extremism legislation.
In response to the new sanctions from the European Union, Russia has expanded the list of EU citizens banned from entering its territory. This applies to individuals who support anti-Russian policies and provide military assistance to Ukraine aimed at undermining the territorial integrity of the country.
These steps by Russia indicate a worsening situation on the international stage and confirm the country's readiness to defend its interests at any cost.
