According to МЗС: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has revealed that within the span of one week, Russia struck Ukraine with 61 missiles, more than 1,560 attack drones, and 1,540 aerial bombs. The assaults on Odesa, Kharkiv, Pavlohrad, and other areas across the country caused civilian casualties, multiple injuries, and severe damage to energy systems, homes, and port facilities.

During that seven-day period, Russia employed the following arsenal:

• 61 missiles of various types, 56 of which were launched on ballistic trajectories;
• more than 1,560 one-way attack drones;
• 1,540 air-dropped bombs.

In response to these strikes, repair teams in Odesa and the surrounding region are working around the clock to restore electricity after attacks on the power grid. The city also saw residential buildings and its port hit, with at least eight people reported injured.

The situation in Kharkiv remains dire: a direct drone impact destroyed four floors of a residential apartment block, leaving dozens wounded and two dead. In Pavlohrad, a strike near a shopping center and energy infrastructure injured nine people, including four children. Attacks were also recorded in Zhytomyr, Mykolaiv, Kyiv, Kherson, Sumy, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Donetsk regions.

These events underscore a sharp escalation in Russia's military tactics and the heavy toll on Ukraine's civilian population. Damage to critical infrastructure, particularly energy facilities, threatens the country's stability as winter approaches. Ukrainian leaders are stressing the urgent need for more international support, including tougher sanctions against Moscow and stronger air defense systems, to shield people from further strikes.

The recent surge in attacks highlights a troubling trend in Russia's military strategy. In a similar timeframe, Ukraine faced an onslaught of 1,900 drones, 1,600 aerial bombs, and 144 missiles, illustrating the escalating intensity of hostilities. Such patterns not only threaten immediate civilian safety but also jeopardize long-term infrastructure resilience as the conflict continues to unfold.
