Russia sentenced a teacher from occupied Amvrosiivka to 12 years: she sheltered a Ukrainian border guard
According to glavcom.ua: In Rostov-on-Don, teacher Valentyna Zaiarna was sentenced to 12 years in prison for participating in a terrorist organization. The woman assisted Ukrainian military personnel Denys Storozhuk, who also fell into the hands of the FSB in occupied Crimea. He spent time in captivity before being exchanged and returning to his homeland. Together they planned sabotage actions, one of which involved blowing up an ammunition depot in Amvrosiivka.
Valentyna Zaiarna collaborated with the military to carry out a sabotage against 'DNR' deputy Yaroslav Anika. She denies receiving explosives from Storozhuk and claims that she met him before the war. The court found the woman guilty of collaborating with a terrorist organization and attempted preparation of a terrorist act, imposing a penalty in the form of imprisonment and a fine.
