According to Главком: In the early hours of February 3, Russian forces carried out a major missile assault on the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, and the northeastern city of Kharkiv. The attacks are part of a continued escalation of the full-scale invasion that began in February 2022. In Kyiv's Dniprovskyi district, several residential high-rise buildings and an educational facility were damaged, while preliminary reports indicate destruction of commercial structures in the Desnianskyi district. Emergency medical teams were dispatched to the Dniprovskyi and Darnytskyi districts to assist the wounded. As of 01:25 local time, the assault was still ongoing.

Kharkiv Under Fire

In Kharkiv, ballistic missiles struck the Slobidskyi district, with a second impact reported in the same area shortly after. Furthermore, in the town of Derhachi, located in the Kharkiv region, an attack by an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) injured two people. The casualties include:

• A 79-year-old woman who suffered an acute stress reaction;
• A 22-year-old man who was hospitalized.

The response to these events was immediate. Kyiv official Timur Tkachenko urged residents to remain in shelters, emphasizing that the night would be difficult. The situation in both cities remains tense as inhabitants seek safe locations during the sustained attacks.
