According to Главком: On the morning of April 6, Russian forces launched attacks on the Dnipropetrovsk region and conducted a major missile strike on the city of Odesa. Over 30 separate attacks were recorded across three districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region. The Nikopol district was hit the hardest, with strikes targeting the city of Nikopol and the communities of:

- Marhanetska
- Pokrovska
In the Synelnykove district, private homes and a pharmacy were damaged. The Kryvyi Rih district saw strikes on the Hrushivska community, where critical infrastructure was also hit. Fortunately, no casualties were reported from the attacks in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
Major Strike on Odesa
In the early hours of April 6, Russian forces carried out a concentrated missile attack on Odesa, targeting the city's Kyivskyi and Prymorskyi districts. The assault triggered large-scale fires and severe destruction of buildings and cars, with residential buildings, infrastructure sites, and administrative structures all hit.
This attack resulted in the deaths of three people, one of whom was a child, while ten others, including another child, were wounded. Firefighters managed to rescue four individuals from the rubble, one of them a child. All fires in Odesa have since been extinguished.
Among the destruction in Odesa is a collapsed five-story residential building, where people may still be trapped under the debris. Another multi-story building was struck, causing severe damage from the fifth to the third floors. In the Prymorskyi district, a residential high-rise complex and seven private houses were damaged.
