The fire and road closures on Konyakina Street forced changes to public transportation routes, affecting buses 2, 28, 57, and trolleybus 5, which were redirected along Sobornosti Avenue to their final stops.

Widespread Missile Barrage Targets Ukraine

This strike was part of a larger, coordinated Russian offensive launched overnight on October 14. The attack involved 39 missiles, including Iskander-M, KN-23, S-400, Zircon, and Onyx systems, alongside 128 various combat drones. In Kyiv alone, five people lost their lives, and 36 sustained injuries, including a child. The Desnianskyi district suffered the highest toll due to a missile hitting a multi-story residential building.

All three municipal combined heat and power plants in the capital were targeted, and railway infrastructure across five regions was damaged. Ukrainian air defenses successfully intercepted four ballistic missiles and 115 enemy drones during the assault.

Roman Romanyuk stated, 'Two bodies were found in the warehouse ruins where drone debris struck. A woman with a shrapnel head wound later died in hospital. Assessment of the damaged structures is ongoing.'
