According to Главком: In a large-scale overnight attack on January 24, Russian forces struck multiple Ukrainian cities, with Kyiv, the Kyiv region, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Dnipro among the primary targets. The assault resulted in civilian casualties and inflicted significant damage to infrastructure. This attack is part of a broader pattern of intensified strikes against Ukrainian urban centers.

In Kharkiv, at least 15 people were reported injured by 07:15. The city's Industrial District bore the brunt of the attack, with additional damage recorded in the Nemyshlyanskyi District. The strikes impacted critical civilian sites, including:

• a dormitory for internally displaced persons;
• a hospital;
• a maternity ward.

In Kyiv, the attack killed one man and wounded four others, three of whom required hospitalization. The capital also experienced disruptions to heating and water supplies on its left bank.

Four civilians were wounded in the wider Kyiv region. In the Brovary district, four private houses and two cars were damaged, while one residential building was hit in the Boryspil district. Falling debris sparked fires and damaged buildings in several districts of Kyiv.
