Intense Assault Targets Several Ukrainian Cities Overnight
According to Кабмін: During the night, Russian forces launched a large-scale missile and drone offensive against several Ukrainian urban centers, including Odesa, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kyiv region, and the capital Kyiv itself. The attacks caused significant damage to residential buildings, critical social infrastructure, and energy facilities.
Impact and Casualties
In Odesa, a multi-story apartment building sustained hits that damaged apartments from the 14th to the 16th floors. Five people were injured in the city, including three residents from the affected building, among them a child. Kyiv reported over ten casualties, with two children aged 10 and 12 among the wounded. The strikes also resulted in harm to homes, schools, and railway tracks.
