According to Главком: For a second consecutive day, the Krasnodar Krai region has come under heavy attack. Governor Veniamin Kondratyev reported that port terminals in the Temryuk district settlement of Volna were struck, resulting in casualties. Preliminary information indicates two workers were killed and several others were injured. This region, located on the northeastern coast of the Black Sea, is a significant economic and logistical hub for Russia.

The assault triggered a major fire at the terminal complex, igniting four fuel storage tanks. Emergency services have deployed 97 personnel and 29 pieces of equipment to contain the blaze and manage the aftermath. The incident has caused considerable alarm among local residents and officials.

These attacks are part of a wider escalation. On the night of January 21, Russian forces launched a ballistic missile, identified as an 'Iskander-M', and 97 attack drones against Ukraine. Additional strikes targeted southern Odesa region, wounding one person and damaging infrastructure, and the Dnipropetrovsk region, where further fatalities were reported.
