Russians struck Zaporizhzhia: 17 injured, rescuers pulled a person from the rubble

An enemy strike in Zaporizhzhia caused serious damage to shops, public transport stops, residential buildings, and city enterprises. Policemen and rescuers saved a person with burns as a result of the explosion, and medics are fighting for their life.

As a result of the missile strike by two Russian missiles, a trade row and critical infrastructure were damaged, and 17 citizens were injured.

Andrii Yermak, head of the President's Office, commented on the event, stating: «Zaporizhzhia received a strike from the Russians. This is further evidence that Putin has no intention of stopping the war, as he enjoys shelling peaceful cities and pretends he wants to end the conflict. But as long as we do not see his true desire, the war will continue».

Moreover, on August 18, occupiers attacked Kharkiv and Odesa regions, leading to casualties and damages.

As a result of the enemy strike on Zaporizhzhia, people, residential buildings, and the city's infrastructure were harmed, which is part of the overall trend of escalating conflict in eastern Ukraine.
