According to glavcom.ua: In Poland, disinformation about Ukrainian products is currently being actively spread. Due to reports of ‘contaminated food from Ukraine’, there are calls to boycott products with the 482 code, which is the standard barcode for Ukrainian goods. Such fakes are part of an anti-Ukrainian campaign that Poland has been conducting since the beginning of the war.
‘Polish institutions regularly publish warnings about specific products that do not meet standards, regardless of their country of origin. Thus, the generalization that ‘all Ukrainian food is poisonous’ is a classic tactic of disinformation.’
These manipulations are aimed at sowing discord between Ukrainians and Poles and weakening Ukraine on the international level. The President of Poland supported the Ukrainian side, speaking against agreements with Russia and promising $100 million for the purchase of weapons for Ukraine under the Purl program.
