Russians carried out airstrikes on Kostiantynivka: one person under the rubble

According to glavcom.ua: On Tuesday, August 19, Russian occupation forces struck Kostiantynivka with airstrikes, resulting in civilian casualties, reports Glavkom citing statement from the head of the Kostiantynivska Military Administration, Serhiy Horbunov.

“Today, Russian troops carried out another airstrike on the city of Kostiantynivka, using FAB-250 bombs for the attack. The first airstrike was delivered to an open area of the city. Fortunately, there were no casualties or destructions,” Horbunov said.

According to Horbunov, after the first airstrike, the invaders launched four more strikes on the residential area. A civilian may remain under the rubble of a building, but rescuers are already conducting an operation to save them.

“In addition, the Russian aviation carried out five more strikes on the city. One civilian sought medical assistance for injuries. Enemy shells damaged civilian and administrative infrastructure,” Horbunov added.

Furthermore, the occupiers attacked Chornobayivka in the Kherson region, where a child was injured. Also, large-scale fires have been detected in Ukraine following attacks on energy and gas transport infrastructure. Russian troops also heavily shelled Poltava region, causing damage to administrative buildings of local enterprises in the energy sector.

As a result of enemy shelling, unexploded cluster munitions were found in Kremenchuk, posing a threat to the city’s civilian population.

On Tuesday, Russian troops continued airstrikes, shelling, and attacks across various regions of Ukraine, causing damage to the civilian population and infrastructure. It is unknown what consequences these attacks will have on defenseless civilians and Ukrainian facilities. In the military-political situation in the country, tensions are rising again, threatening the peaceful life of citizens.
