Overnight Attacks Hit Dnipropetrovsk Region
According to Главком: A 43-year-old woman lost her life, and three others sustained injuries-including a pregnant woman-during overnight Russian strikes on the Dnipropetrovsk region. Multiple communities suffered damage, with critical infrastructure also impacted across the area.
Consequences of the Strikes
In the Dnipro district, drone attacks targeted five gas stations located in Dnipro city and the Petrykivka and Slobozhanske communities. Meanwhile, in the Synelnykove district, five communities came under fire, resulting in damage to:
- industrial enterprises
- a community cultural center
- an administrative building
- a memorial
- a secondary school
- retail shops
- gas stations
Artillery shelling also hit the administrative center of Nikopol and the Pokrovsk community. All fires ignited by the attacks have since been extinguished. Russia continues to strike gas stations across Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, and Sumy regions, inflicting damage on civilian infrastructure and endangering the local population.
These attacks underscore the persistent threat to civilians in Ukraine, particularly in regions near the conflict zone. Government and local authorities are working to restore damaged infrastructure, but the security situation remains tense, highlighting the urgent need for enhanced protective measures and regional stability.
