According to glavcom.ua: Russian skier Daria Nepryaeva has secured her participation in four disciplines at the 2026 Olympic Games in Italy. She will compete in the individual race, skiathlon, sprint, and marathon. It is also worth noting that the athlete has impressive achievements, but in 2022 she violated the law by illegally visiting annexed Crimea.
Also, Russian speed skater Aleksandra Sayutina and other athletes were present at events dedicated to Putin's speech. The participation of neutral athletes in such events contradicts the recommendations of the IOC and raises certain controversies in the public.
