Drone Attacks Target Kharkiv Districts

According to Рубрика — Суспільство: On October 10, Russian drones launched assaults on two districts in Kharkiv, resulting in injuries to four people, including an emergency service worker from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (DSNS). One of the strikes hit a medical facility in the Slobidskyi district, sparking a fire.

The initial strike occurred in the Kholodnohirskyi district, where Russian forces deployed a 'Molniya' type drone. The second attack in Slobidskyi set a medical institution ablaze. According to updated reports, a 42-year-old woman was wounded in the Slobidskyi strike and required hospitalization. Another woman, aged 53, received on-site medical care.

Casualties and Aftermath

Additional victims include:

  • 42-year-old woman (hospitalized)
  • 53-year-old woman (treated at the scene)
  • 32-year-old woman (acute stress reaction)
  • 63-year-old woman (hospitalized)

All injured parties have been provided with necessary medical assistance. Earlier that morning, airstrikes on Zaporizhzhia claimed 12 lives, including three children.

These incidents highlight the ongoing threat to civilian safety across Ukraine. The attacks on Kharkiv and other cities underscore an escalation in violence and the persistent nature of the conflict, which continues to cause significant civilian casualties. Strikes targeting healthcare facilities raise grave concerns about the safety of medical staff and patients, as well as the disruption of critical emergency care services.

Such events emphasize the urgent need for sustained international support for Ukraine in resisting aggression and for implementing measures to safeguard civilians in conflict zones.
