Widespread Drone Assault Targets Ukrainian Regions

According to Главком: On April 1, Russian drone attacks struck multiple Ukrainian regions, resulting in the deaths of four civilians in the Zolotonosha district of Cherkaasy Oblast. The attack occurred in an open area during an air raid alert. In the preceding night, a total of 339 Russian drones were recorded targeting various regions, including:

  • Lutsk
  • Kryvyi Rih
  • Dnipropetrovsk Oblast
  • Zhytomyr Oblast
  • Poltava Oblast
  • Odesa Oblast
  • Kharkiv Oblast
  • Khmelnytskyi Oblast

In Lutsk, the strikes damaged an apartment building, a Nova Poshta warehouse, and a grocery warehouse belonging to a retail chain. Reports of attacks also came from Kryvyi Rih, a city in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast that was targeted by drones.

"A Russian UAV caused irreparable damage in Cherkasy region. We have four dead in Zolotonosha district. This happened in an open area during an air raid alert. Law enforcement is currently investigating all circumstances. Investigative actions are ongoing."

He also emphasized safety, urging people not to approach downed drones, as 'the warhead can detonate at any moment.' If debris is found, it must be reported to numbers 101 and 102. These drone assaults are part of a sustained campaign targeting civilian infrastructure, which has intensified in recent months.
