Tragedy in Sumy

According to ДСНС: A woman and two girls, aged 5 and 10, were killed in Sumy as a result of Russian bombardments on private residential areas and infrastructure facilities. Four more people were injured. Rescuers conducted search and rescue operations, clearing debris and extinguishing fires at several locations. The bodies of the children and the woman were managed to be recovered from the rubble at another site.

Repeat strikes and consequences

During the elimination of the aftermath, Russians carried out repeated strikes on the locations where rescuers were working; one of the attacks damaged the State Emergency Service equipment, however, the rescuers were unharmed. That same night, the Konohtop community came under fire, where rescuers responded to a fire in the residential sector.
