It is noted that this combat group fell within the zone of responsibility of the 'Brotherhood' unit as part of the 'Timur Special Unit' of the GUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, so the 'media triumph' of the occupiers did not last long. The scouts successfully dealt with the threat.
The special forces of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense successfully eliminated the occupiers who attempted to break through to the Dnipropetrovsk region border. They took a photo in the village of Zeleny Hay to inform their leadership about a new 'captured' position on the way to Dnipropetrovsk, reported GUR.
It is worth noting that on the night of August 2, the defense forces of Ukraine struck successfully at verified targets of the Russian Federation that were involved in ensuring the armed aggression against Ukraine. The Novokuybyshevsk oil refinery in Novokuybyshevsk and the JSC 'Production Association 'Electropribor' in Penza were struck.
As a result of the successful operations of the special forces and strikes by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the occupiers and facilities involved in the aggression against Ukraine were neutralized, demonstrating readiness and effectiveness in conducting military operations.
