Authorities, including law enforcement officers, investigative teams, bomb disposal experts, and other emergency services, are currently managing the scene. The affected area of the Epicenter complex has been secured by police. Citizens are urged to stay clear of the site and maintain a safe distance due to the possibility of further strikes. History of Previous Attacks on Epicenter and Pryluky City
This is not the first time the Epicenter mall has been targeted. On May 19, 2026, occupying forces launched a ballistic missile attack on central Pryluky. The strike caused a fire on the roof of the Epicenter construction hypermarket, severely damaging the rear wall of the building. Initial reports confirmed two fatalities and 17 injuries, including a child; later, the number of wounded rose to 21.
Additionally, on September 7, Russian forces conducted a drone strike on Pryluky, igniting a fire at the Pryluky tobacco factory, part of the British American Tobacco corporation. One woman was injured during this attack. The security situation in the region remains unstable, with residents closely monitoring updates and adhering to law enforcement guidance.
