Kramatorsk hit by four aerial bombs

According to Рубрика — Суспільство: On August 18, Russian forces carried out four airstrikes on Kramatorsk using FAB-250 guided bombs fitted with UMPK modules. Three people were wounded in the attack: an 11-year-old boy, a 71-year-old man, and an 84-year-old woman. Four apartment buildings and three cars sustained damage, and one of the bombs struck a residential building directly.

The victims suffered blast injuries, lacerations, abrasions, and contusions. The Kramatorsk District Prosecutor's Office has opened a pre-trial investigation into the incident as a war crime. The Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office reported the details on Telegram.

Ongoing attacks and their toll

The strike is part of continued Russian aggression that keeps causing harm to civilians across Ukraine. Attacks on residential areas are leaving both people and infrastructure with serious consequences.

What happened in Kramatorsk reflects the intensifying conflict in Ukraine, where civilians remain under threat from military operations. The prosecutor's investigation aims to ensure accountability for these crimes, but the repeated targeting of residential zones highlights the severe challenges in protecting the civilian population. It also underscores the need for sustained international attention and action to safeguard human rights during the war.
