According to Міністерство інфраструктури: In Ternopil, solutions for the convenience of urban space are being implemented in stages. Work continues on 18 facilities of the barrier-free route. The arrangement of two adjoining territories has already been completed, and work is ongoing at another ten sites. Contractors are creating accessible approaches to the building at Solomiya Krushelnytska Street, 1A, and updating the pedestrian infrastructure on key streets of the city. Works are being completed near school No. 3 on Mykhailo Hrushevsky Street, while curbs have been replaced and lowered, and the surface has been updated on Lystopadna Street. It is planned to complete the current stage by the end of the year, after which the route will connect residential neighborhoods with the main social, medical, and public facilities of the city.

In Slavutych, the "Movement Without Barriers" project covers both pedestrian infrastructure and public facilities. Work is ongoing at several sections of the route, where the surface has already been renewed, curbs have been replaced, and their height has been reduced for the comfortable movement of people. New sidewalks and entrances are being created near administrative buildings and service facilities. The sports complex "Olimpiec" is receiving accessible space, including the installation of ramps, and in residential neighborhoods, entrance groups are being updated and preparations are being made for the installation of lifts. Preparatory work is being carried out at the cinema-concert complex for the further arrangement of an elevator, ramps, and accessible pedestrian approaches.

The arrangement of a barrier-free environment for city residents is an important component of improving comfort and safety in the community space. Such initiatives contribute to the social integration of all population groups and make cities more friendly to people with disabilities.
