Traffic restored on the Odesa-Reni highway after shelling: details
Traffic on the M-15 Odesa-Reni highway has been restored
According to glavcom.ua: Drivers can now freely use the M-15 Odesa-Reni highway as it has been completely opened within the village of Maiaky. This was reported by Oleksiy Biloshytskyi, the first deputy head of the Patrol Police Department, as reported by Hlavkom.
It should be noted that since December 19, the movement of trucks was prohibited here due to circumstances related to eliminating the consequences of enemy shelling in the Odesa region.
Recently, Russia has again been attacking the civilian infrastructure of the Odesa region, targeting transport, port, and industrial facilities in the southern part of the region. As a result, there were fires, material damage, but no casualties.
In addition, on the night of December 20, the enemy launched a ballistic strike on the port in Odesa, resulting in the deaths of eight people and injuries to about 30 others. Later that same day, the port of Pivdennyi was attacked again, with the enemy injuring tanks.
As a result of enemy actions, the situation on the M-15 Odesa-Reni highway is complicated, but thanks to safety measures, traffic has been restored here, allowing drivers to move smoothly in both directions.
