Shakhtar won against Polish Lech in the first match of the Conference League Round of 16

Donetsk 'Shakhtar' successfully started in the 1/8 finals of the UEFA Conference League. In the first match, the Ukrainian team defeated Polish 'Lech' with a score of 3:1. Radio Svoboda reports.

In the 36th minute, Marlon Gomes completed a counterattack after a pass from Cavani Elias and put the 'miners' ahead.

After the break, the Ukrainian team doubled their advantage. The defenders of 'Lech' made a mistake, which was capitalized on by Neverton who sent the ball into the opponent's net.

In the 70th minute, the home team reduced the deficit. The goal was scored by Swedish forward Mikael Ishak, which brought back the intrigue into the match.

However, at the end of the meeting, 'Shakhtar' definitively settled the question of the winner. In the 85th minute, Isaki Silva, who came on as a substitute for Neverton, scored with an acrobatic shot, establishing the final score.
