Agreement Between Samsung SDI and General Motors

As part of the agreement, Samsung SDI is acquiring General Motors' 49.99 percent share of the joint venture SynergyCells, located in New Carlisle, Indiana. Plans and Outlook

Once the stake transfer is complete, Samsung SDI plans to set up its first standalone battery manufacturing base in North America.
