Ihor Plotnitsky's Consultations with a Fortune Teller

According to Главком: A fortune teller based in Lviv was secretly guiding the internal policies of former LNR leader Ihor Plotnitsky, with the involvement of Ukraine's Security Service (SBU). Retired SBU colonel and former intelligence officer Roman Chervinsky revealed this during an interview published by Ukrainska Pravda and Glavcom.

Plotnitsky would call the fortune teller for advice and to gauge the mood within his inner circle. Ukrainian security forces instructed the woman on what information to pass on to him. These calls were discovered by chance. According to Chervinsky, the SBU actively shaped Plotnitsky's internal policy for about six months.

Comments on Ties to Astrologers

Meanwhile, Ihor Fomin, a lawyer for the former head of the Presidential Office, commented on the correspondence between Andriy Yermak and astrologer Veronika Anikievych, who also calls herself an astrology consultant. Anikievych, a 51-year-old Kyiv resident, was previously linked to a money laundering case involving the Dynasty cottage complex. Yermak is suspected by Ukraine's National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) of laundering over 400 million hryvnias through elite construction projects near Kyiv.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy described the situation as complex.

These events highlight the intricate political landscape in Ukraine, where unconventional methods like consulting fortune tellers have sparked public interest and concern. The involvement of fortune tellers and astrologers in state affairs raises questions about the professionalism of Ukrainian officials. At the same time, NABU's investigations into corruption schemes at the highest levels of power underscore the ongoing fight against corruption, a key issue for both Ukrainian society and international partners.

As the investigation into Plotnitsky's reliance on a fortune teller unfolds, similar concerns arise regarding the former head of the President's Office, Andriy Yermak. His alleged involvement in laundering substantial sums through luxury real estate has drawn scrutiny from Ukraine's National Anti-Corruption Bureau. For more details on these alarming allegations and their implications for Ukraine's political landscape, see this report on Yermak's financial dealings.
