According to Главком: On June 3, the Security Service of Ukraine, alongside units of the Defense Forces, conducted attacks on the infrastructure of the St. Petersburg Oil Terminal and military vessels in Kronstadt. This operation coincided with the opening day of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. The assault resulted in damage to the Boykiy corvette, a vessel belonging to Russia's Baltic Fleet. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the extent of the damage and the full results of the strike are still being assessed.

The strikes on military ships in Kronstadt were carried out early on June 3. At the time of the attack, the Boykiy, a Project 20380 corvette, was undergoing scheduled maintenance in the Veleshchinsky dry dock. This vessel is equipped with guided missile weaponry.
