Euroinvestbank allocated 100 million euros: which communities will receive funding

Another 9 community projects will receive funding under the Ukraine Recovery Program III (tranche B). The decision to finance the projects was approved by the relevant Expert Working Group.

As a result of the Expert Working Group meetings, 9 projects were recommended. Of these, 3 projects are being implemented as part of the flagship project of the Ministry of Development 'Movement without Barriers'. Additionally, 6 projects have been approved in various areas across different regions of Ukraine.

‘Overall, following three meetings, the Expert Group selected 18 projects for funding under the 'Ukraine Recovery III' program (tranche B)... These are the ones that most need assistance and quick solutions today,’ said Oleksiy Ryabikin.

From September 11 to 30, communities had the opportunity to submit proposals for project funding for recovery and development through the digital ecosystem DREAM. A total of 677 applications were submitted for an amount of 24.2 billion UAH.

Project funding is carried out within the framework of the Ukraine Recovery Program III (tranche B), implemented by the Government of Ukraine in cooperation with the European Investment Bank. The funds are directed to restore social infrastructure in regions affected by Russian aggression, as well as to support communities that have suffered significant pressure due to the increase in the number of internally displaced persons.

In summary: The European Investment Bank, together with the Government of Ukraine, continues to fund projects for the recovery of communities initiated under the Ukraine Recovery Program III. The new funds will help improve the lives of people in regions affected by the conflict and provide support to those who need it most.
