Children Returned from Russian-Occupied Areas

According to Рубрика — Суспільство: A fresh group of seven children-four girls and three boys aged 10 to 17-has arrived in Ukraine-controlled territory from the temporarily occupied part of Kherson Oblast. The transfer took place under the presidential Bring Kids Back UA initiative and was supported by the charity Save Ukraine. The children are now safe and are undergoing reintegration at the "Hope and Renewal" centers. Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, reported the news.

These centers offer psychological support, help with restoring documents, and a safe shelter. Since the start of 2026, 124 children have been returned from occupied Kherson Oblast. The broader Bring Kids Back UA campaign has so far secured the return of 2,126 children. This operation is part of Ukraine's broader humanitarian response to the ongoing war.

The Bring Kids Back UA Initiative

Bring Kids Back UA is the Ukrainian President's program that brings together state bodies, civil society, and foreign partners to locate, recover, and reintegrate Ukrainian children who were deported or forcibly displaced by Russia.
