NAZK reveals key anti-corruption tools for regions: what will change
Sergiy Hupiak, Deputy Head of NAZK, spoke at the forum 'Government Accountability: Effective Tools for Activists and Journalists' about the importance of anti-corruption programs at the regional level. He emphasized that it is crucial to analyze corruption risks and develop programs taking into account the specifics of each region. For example, corruption risks in public procurement threaten almost all regions, while others have their own characteristics, such as in forestry or the water sector.
Experts also discussed the importance of decentralization and transparency, as well as sharing their own experiences of initiatives to combat corruption. The forum was organized by the Institute for War and Peace Reporting with the support of the Norwegian Agency for Development and Cooperation.
