Serhiy Prytula marks his daughter Solomiia's 9th birthday with a dramatic account of her birth

According to РБК-Україна — Lite: Serhiy Prytula, a well-known Ukrainian volunteer, activist, and former TV host, recently celebrated his daughter Solomiia turning nine years old. In a public post, he shared the memorable story of her arrival in July 2017, describing a stormy evening over Kyiv with lightning strikes that made the moment feel "very gothic." The post also highlighted Solomiia's interests in sports, music, and drawing, and noted that she has become the first member of the Prytula family to join Plast, the Ukrainian scouting organization.

"You were born on a hot July evening in 2017, when the sky above Kyiv was covered with thunderclouds. Lightning flashed. It was very gothic."

In his heartfelt birthday message, Prytula thanked Solomiia for teaching both him and her mother to become better people. "Thank you for teaching us to be better! Thank you for how you love us, your brothers, and your sister. For how genuine you are!" Prytula is a father of three. Besides Solomiia, he has a five-year-old daughter Stefaniia and a son Marko, who will soon turn one. He was previously married to Yuriia Andriichuk, with whom he had a son Dmytro in 2008. Since 2015, he has been married to Kateryna Sopelnyk.
