Massive traffic accident on the Kyiv-Chop highway: cars are on fire, there are casualties

According to glavcom.ua: Today, December 20, around 1:00 PM in the village of Bila Krynitsia, a traffic accident occurred involving about eight vehicles. This information was shared by the police of the Rivne region through the publication 'Glavcom'.

According to preliminary data, as a result of the mass collision of vehicles, cars caught fire. Emergency responders and rescue services swiftly arrived at the scene, extinguishing the fire and starting to free the victims.

Preliminary data indicates that three people were injured in the accident, and rescuers freed them from the vehicles. The victims have been hospitalized for medical assistance and examinations.

Traffic towards the capital is temporarily blocked due to the consequences of the accident. Drivers are advised to be cautious and choose alternative routes when planning trips.

Recently, another accident occurred on the Zhytomyr highway in the Kyiv region, resulting in a traffic jam. Additionally, on December 17, a traffic accident involving three vehicles occurred on the Bila Tserkva - Fastiv highway.

Law enforcement is already investigating these cases of traffic accidents and clarifying their circumstances.
