In September of last year, she decided to stop taking one of the medications prescribed after the stroke, despite warnings from doctors that doing so could be dangerous. After quitting the drug, she felt unwell for four and a half months, which led her to reflect deeply on her life.
They told me: 'You can’t stop. You’ll never be able to stop.' I said, 'I’m stopping,' and it was incredibly hard. I was nauseous like a dog for four and a half months. I just kept thinking: 'I want my life back' - Sharon Stone.
