Pensions in August funded to 75.8 billion UAH

Funding of Pension Payments

According to Пенсії (RSS): As of August 26, the Pension Fund of Ukraine has financed pension payments totaling 75.8 billion UAH. Of this amount, 9.3 billion UAH was disbursed through JSC Ukrposhta, while authorized banks provided 66.5 billion UAH. Additionally, 1.5 billion UAH was allocated for housing subsidies and benefits, and 3.0 billion UAH for insurance payments, of which 1.6 billion UAH was used to pay for sick leaves.

Social Assistance and Services

Furthermore, 11.0 billion UAH was financed for social assistance and other payments. In August, the bodies of the Pension Fund of Ukraine provided 1,067.1 thousand services to individuals who sought assistance.

This data indicates the active financial activity of the Pension Fund, ensuring social protection for the population. Payments through various channels, such as Ukrposhta and banks, facilitate prompt access to pensions and subsidies, which is a crucial factor in supporting citizens’ well-being, especially amid economic challenges. Given the large number of services provided, it can be concluded that the Pension Fund continues to fulfill its functions in response to the needs of the population.
