Rocket attack in Kyiv: 6 dead and over 10 injured

A terrible event occurred in the capital of Ukraine – an attack by the Russian Federation resulted in the death of six people. More than 10 individuals were injured. The Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office has opened a pre-trial investigation regarding the war crime committed by the Russian military.

According to information, the attack on the capital was carried out using missiles and drones, leading to the destruction of residential buildings and civilian infrastructure in several districts of the city. In particular, in the Holosiivskyi, Darnytskyi, Desnianskyi, Dniprovs'kyi, Pechers'kyi, and Sviatoshynskyi districts.

In the Dniprovs'kyi district, a fire ignited in a building as a result of the strike on the 7th-9th floors, resulting in the death of two people.

In the Sviatoshynskyi district, several people died due to a strike on the logistics center of one of the stores.

The investigators of the Security Service of Ukraine in Kyiv and the Kyiv region are conducting an investigation into these events. Currently, rescuers and law enforcement officers are working at the accident sites to assist the victims and understand all the circumstances of this tragedy.
