In Dnipro, a scheme of fictitious adoption of children was uncovered: how the criminal group operated
Organization and employees
It has recently been revealed that a living organization appeared in Dnipro, consisting of 8 people, including officials from the state registration of civil status acts department. For a certain fee, these individuals made unauthorized changes to electronic registries, using their access to the automated systems of government agencies, and created fictitious documents for the adoption of children. This allowed them to obtain the status of a large family father, which granted the right to cross the border during martial law.
For these services, according to the prosecutor's office, they collected from 4 to 6 thousand dollars for each person. During the preliminary investigation, it was revealed that false information about paternity concerning 18 children was submitted.
The prosecutor's office emphasizes that the cost of such 'service' was from 4 to 6 thousand dollars per person.
