According to glavcom.ua: Restoration work has begun at the site of the cargo train derailment near Korosten. Specialists and restoration trains are already working at the scene, and law enforcement agencies are examining the circumstances of the incident. 'Ukrzaliznytsia' emphasizes that they are doing everything possible to restore the section as quickly as possible and return trains to schedule.

The eastbound cargo train derailing has caused significant delays in train movement. The train from Kharkiv to Uzhhorod has already been redirected to another route, and other trains may be delayed by up to three hours. Some routes have bypassed stations through Shepetivka, Kozyatyn, and Fastiv.
