The banquet prepared for Trump offered an array of dishes, including:

  • lobster in tomato sauce
  • crispy beef ribs
  • Peking duck
  • mustard-glazed salmon

  • braised seasonal vegetables

For dessert, guests enjoyed shell-shaped pastries, tiramisu, ice cream, and fresh fruit.

The day after arriving in Beijing, Trump held an official meeting with Xi Jinping at the Great Hall of the People.
