Word of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine

According to Главком: The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sybiha refuted Russia's claims about Ukraine's attack on Vladimir Putin's residence, emphasizing the absence of any evidence. Sybiha noted that there has been no attack by Ukraine on this residence, which indicates manipulation by the Russian side. He urged caution in reactions to unverified statements that could only bolster Russian propaganda.

On December 29, Russia accused Ukraine of a drone attack on Putin's residence. This statement has been criticized by Ukrainian officials who point out that such reports have no substantiation. Sybiha also mentioned that similar reactions to baseless accusations only play into Russian propaganda.

Tension in relations between Ukraine and Russia

At the same time, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky noted that by making such statements, the Russian side is preparing the ground for possible strikes against Ukraine. This situation underscores the tension in relations between Ukraine and Russia, which persists despite numerous appeals for a peaceful resolution of the conflict. It is worth noting that earlier, on September 7, 2025, a Russian missile hit a building of the Ukrainian government, which also indicates an escalation of violence between the countries.

These events highlight the complexity of the situation in Ukrainian-Russian relations, where information wars and manipulation play an important role. It is essential for the international community to pay attention to such statements, as they can have serious consequences for security in the region. Unsubstantiated accusations only deepen the existing tension and may lead to new escalations of the conflict.
