Results of the Overnight Drone Strike

According to ХВИЛЯ: On the night of June 2, commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces Madyar (Robert Brovdi) reported on the outcome of a drone attack that eliminated two air defense assets and several other targets in Crimea and Donetsk region. The operations were carried out by units of the 414th Separate Brigade of the Unmanned Systems Forces.

Key Targets Hit in the Attack

Among the primary targets struck in Crimea were:

  • A Pantsir-S1 surface-to-air missile and gun system, destroyed near Vydne;
  • A specialized tugboat of Project 1454;
  • The command post of the 1st Division, 92nd Brigade of River Ships from Russia's Dnipro Flotilla of the Black Sea Fleet, located in Mizhvodne;
  • A decoy model of a Pantsir-S1.

In Donetsk region, the strikes hit:

  • The Neva-B and Neva-B2M coastal radar stations in Mariupol;
  • A drone workshop belonging to the 589th Motorized Rifle Regiment in Donetsk city;
  • A temporary deployment site for a unit of Russia's 110th Brigade, 51st Army, in Zhelanne;
  • A group of command-and-staff vehicles and trucks from the 5th Separate Battalion of the 3rd Army Corps, stationed in Shyrokyne.

In total, the destruction of 11 command-and-staff vehicles and cargo trucks has been confirmed.

“Several dozen command-and-staff vehicles and cargo trucks were detected, with 11 confirmed destroyed-reconnaissance will determine the exact number,” said Madyar (Robert Brovdi).

He added: “You have no rear area in the operational depth, you worms… blow yourselves beyond the Urals.” The strikes were coordinated by the newly established Deep Strike Center of the Unmanned Systems Forces, involving the 9th Battalion Kairos, a combined detachment of the 13th, and the 1st Separate Center of the USF.

This attack highlights the intensified operations of Ukrainian unmanned systems units, which continue to target strategically important assets in occupied territories. The elimination of air defense components and command posts could significantly impair Russian forces' operational capabilities in the region and support the further advancement of Ukraine's military campaigns. These actions also demonstrate the effectiveness of new tactical approaches adopted by the Ukrainian military in countering aggression.

The recent strike underscores the escalating effectiveness of Ukrainian drone operations, akin to a previous incident where Ukrainian forces targeted multiple Russian aircraft and helicopters. This trend illustrates a significant shift in the battlefield dynamics, emphasizing the growing capabilities of unmanned systems in delivering precise strikes against enemy assets.
