The Defense Forces received 7 new vehicles: which models were added to the fleet

In July 2025, the fleet of the Defense Forces was replenished - 7 new types of vehicles of various purposes were allowed for operation. This was reported by the Main Department for the Support of the Life Cycle of Armaments and Military Equipment.

According to the Ministry of Defense, the list of new vehicles includes passenger off-road pickups with single and double cabins, all-wheel-drive minibuses, and specially designed vehicles.

Since the beginning of 2025, the defense agency has permitted almost 70 new types of vehicles for operation, most of which are produced in Ukraine. Many of these vehicles are capable of performing a wide range of tasks due to their technical characteristics. These include special vehicles, trucks, universal wheeled chassis, auto cranes, mobile workshops, recovery trucks, vehicles for transporting heavy and oversized cargo, trailers, semi-trailers, and more.

The importance of automotive technology for the military

Last year, more than 200 new types of vehicles were allowed for operation. Automotive technology is an important category of armaments that ensures the mobility and logistics of troops.
