Сили оборони України завдали удару по трьом важливим об'єктам ворожої інфраструктури на території РФ.

Ukrainian Military Operations on June 28–29, 2024

According to Главком: On June 28 and 29, 2024, Ukraine’s defense forces carried out strikes on Russian military targets, hitting critical infrastructure. These attacks resulted in the destruction of three bridges, a logistics depot, drone control centers, and communication sites. This operation is part of a broader effort to degrade Russian military capabilities along the front lines and beyond.

The first wave on June 28 targeted a road bridge near Novozovsk in Donetsk Oblast. Additionally, two railway bridges in Luhansk Oblast were struck. A logistics depot near Novosvitlivka, also in Luhansk Oblast, was destroyed-a move likely to disrupt supply chains for Russian forces in the area.

Continued Strikes on June 29

Overnight into June 29, attacks persisted against military infrastructure. Three drone control posts were hit near Huliaipole in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, Tyotkino in Russia’s Kursk Oblast, and Bakhmut in Donetsk Oblast. A command post for an electronic warfare unit near Velyka Novosilka in Donetsk Oblast was also struck.

Additional strikes confirmed damage to two communication facilities near the settlement of Minyaevo in Russia’s Moscow Oblast. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,

“one building on the site was destroyed on June 26. Another building sustained significant damage with partial collapse.”

These hits could severely hamper Russian military communications in the region.

The primary targets of the attacks included:

  • three bridges
  • a logistics depot
  • drone control centers
  • military communication facilities

Among the bridges struck were a road bridge near Novozovsk and two railway bridges in Luhansk Oblast. Regarding communication targets, two facilities in Minyaevo, Moscow Oblast, were hit. These actions align with Ukraine’s strategy to weaken enemy military capabilities by targeting key infrastructure.

These strikes underscore the ongoing intensity of hostilities in Ukraine and highlight the Ukrainian military’s focus on hitting infrastructure that sustains Russian operations. Destroying bridges and supply depots is expected to complicate Russian logistics and resupply, thereby boosting the effectiveness of Ukrainian forces on the battlefield.

In a related development, Ukrainian forces have also targeted an oil facility in Russia’s Volgograd region, further demonstrating their strategy to disrupt Russian supply lines. These coordinated strikes highlight the ongoing efforts to undermine the operational capabilities of the Russian military.
