According to Главком: In the early hours of April 18, Ukrainian Defense Forces launched a coordinated attack on oil refining and infrastructure facilities within the Russian Federation and in temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories. The operation successfully hit four major Russian oil industry targets. These included the 'Novokuybyshevsk' and 'Syzran' oil refineries, both located in the Samara region, the 'RPK-Vysotsk Lukoil-2' oil loading terminal in the Leningrad region, and the 'Tikhoretsk' oil pumping station in the Krasnodar region.

Furthermore, the strikes targeted fuel and lubricant storage sites near Mariupol. Repair unit locations in several settlements on the temporarily occupied territories were also hit. The affected areas specifically include:

• Hrafske in the Donetsk region
• Tokmak in the Zaporizhzhia region

Unmanned aerial vehicles carried out the attacks on the refineries in the Samara region, as well as on Sevastopol in occupied Crimea during the night of April 18.
