About Vyshyvanochka
According to Мінфін: Founded by Yana Tkachuk, the veteran-led family business Vyshyvanochka is actively growing its Ukrainian clothing production and maintaining employment during wartime. The company benefits from the “Affordable Loans 5–7–9%” program supported by Oschadbank, which fuels manufacturing growth and bolsters the national economy. Vyshyvanochka’s products are in demand across more than 20 countries and are available in stores both within Ukraine and through their Canadian branch.
Commitment to Social Responsibility and Military Support
The workforce includes veterans, internally displaced persons, and young people, promoting social inclusion and generating new job opportunities. Vyshyvanochka also partners with vocational schools to engage youth in the production process. Additionally, leftover fabric is donated to create camouflage nets for the frontline, highlighting the company’s active role in supporting the military.
“Vyshyvanochka exemplifies how Ukrainian businesses uphold cultural heritage while standing strong in support of the country,” remarked Yana Tkachuk.
Collaboration with organizations such as World Bank Ukraine, the National Development Institution, and Ukraine’s Ministry of Economy and Environment emphasizes the significance of Vyshyvanochka’s efforts amid today’s challenges.
This initiative showcases how Ukrainian enterprises can adapt during conflict by preserving traditions and advancing socio-economic growth. In times of crisis, companies like Vyshyvanochka play a vital role in sustaining local economies, creating jobs, and supporting vulnerable groups. Beyond backing the armed forces, the business fosters social integration, an essential factor in Ukraine’s post-conflict recovery.
