Michael Jackson's Sons Advocate for Neverland's New Purpose

According to Radiotrek — Світ: Prince and Bigi, the sons of Michael Jackson, have expressed a heartfelt vision to repurpose Neverland Ranch as a sanctuary for children battling illnesses and families in need. They envision turning the expansive estate into a retreat center dedicated to healing and support. Currently, the property is owned by businessman Ron Burkle, who acquired the ranch in 2020 for approximately $22 million.

The Legacy and Future of Neverland Ranch

Spanning roughly 2,700 acres in California, Neverland Ranch was purchased by Michael Jackson in 1988. The pop icon transformed it into a unique wonderland featuring an amusement park, a movie theater, a private railroad station, and a zoo. After Michael’s passing in June 2009 at age 50, the ranch has remained a symbol of joy and imagination-qualities his sons hope to revive for children once again.

Prince, born around 1997, co-founded a charitable foundation in 2016 that supports children and underprivileged families. His brother Bigi, formerly known as Blanket, stands firmly behind this mission. Although neither Prince nor Bigi owns or controls Neverland, they are vocal about their desire to see the estate used for philanthropic purposes.

Ron Burkle, the current owner, has acknowledged the ranch’s storied past and expressed openness to hosting charitable events there. This willingness creates promising opportunities to bring the sons’ vision of a nurturing retreat for children to fruition.

Michael Jackson’s sons’ proposal to revive Neverland as a haven for sick children highlights the importance of charity and social responsibility in preserving the estate’s legacy.

Once a place synonymous with wonder and delight, Neverland Ranch could embark on a new chapter of purpose if Prince and Bigi’s ideas gain support. Burkle’s receptive stance toward philanthropic initiatives may be pivotal in transforming this iconic site into a beacon of hope and joy for vulnerable children.
